The Samsung Experience

1) How is new technology presented to us by the companies that create and sell it?
Companies will use whatever chance they take to make their product seem appealing and attractive to the consumer community. Some of the more obvious strategies used are commercials and advertisements in magazines and billboards.
There are deeper more suttle advertisement methods used, however. These are called subliminal messages. A subliminal message will advertise the product without adversiting it. The company selling this item could pay someone, usually models, to just walk around the street with the product. The model might flash the product, show it off, pretend (or not pretend) that they're having a real great time with the product they're selling. Another subliminal strategy is to make an ad with an obvious error in it. Doing this will get the ad stuck in the readers head so that it stays with them, and eventually leads them into buying it eventually.
Some of this may seem underhanded and scheming, but it is how most companies get their products off the market and into the hands of the consumer.
(Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the actual Samsung Experience, so I couldn't finish the reflection assigned for the day).
